Of the many wonderful things Berlin is reputed for, its climate certainly isn’t one of them. The long, drawn out winter is usually punctuated by a mild, pluvial spring that desperately craves attention, and refuses to share any of the seasonal spotlight with its close cousin, summer.
2017 has been no exception to this trend; however, thankfully, it appears we can finally bask in the warmth of August and make it through the weeks to come without enduring an endless downfall of rain. To mark the occasion, chef Nelson has concocted a special “let the sunshine in” menu to welcome the return of the sun gods.
Here’s to hoping that the remainder of summer will be warm, welcoming, and, as always, filled with good food and drink. Cheers!
